How is this difference between soft-and hard-serve frozen yoghurt?Soft-serve does not contain probiotics, hard-serve does.
We adopted a manufacturing process similar to that for Ice-Cream, and it is created with our proprietary pre-mix base. Combined with New Zealand skimmed milk, high-grade virgin coconut oil, as well as yogurt that contains prebiotics and probiotics (live cultures) - the mixture is rapidly frozen and churned to minimise the size of ice crystals.
While conventional methods of Ice-Cream production involve pasteurising the entire Ice-Cream mix, the Sogurt technology pasteurises all but the yogurt component. This meticulous attention to detail eliminates the yogurt's exposure to high heat, keeping the healthy bacteria alive. The freshly made froyo ice-cream is then packaged in pint and single cup-sized tubs, then rapidly frozen at sub-zero temperatures to set.
Is Froyo Ice-Cream the same as Ice-Cream?
Yes! It is the same with extra goodness in it :)
What ingredients do you use?
We use our proprietary pre-mix base, combined with New Zealand skimmed milk, high-grade virgin coconut oil, as well as yogurt that contains prebiotics and probiotics (live cultures).
What’s the reason behind introducing hard serve frozen yoghurt?
Over the years, we witnessed an uptrend in ice-cream brands shifting towards e-commerce that was well received by many frozen dessert fans; resulting in a shift in purchasing behaviour for the ice-cream industry. This motivated us to create froyo ice-cream, a 2.0 version of froyo soft serve, that can be packaged and sold easily.
